five alive!

I had a fun night with this family!  This mom was so much fun & was just as crazy as I was to get the kids attention :)  She put full trust in me and just let me do my job which was so helpful!  Your kids are adorable and have the greatest personalities!

This little guy was pretty silly I loved this one of him.  Don't worry S, I have some nice ones of him too.  I just like photography with a little humor and personality.  It's not lacking here.

and this little one was chit-chatting my head off from the moment we opened the van door.  she's so cute!

Trying to make my sister cry.... again :)  (i know.... i'm a mean sister)

She asked me to post more pictures of my kids and since I just did some of Easton, Molly gets her turn this time.  I can't go on about how sweet little miss molly is.  She is so mellow and laid back, happy and content.  Sooooo different from her big brother!  She's becoming more and more independent every day.  She's a little shaker and a mover and really didn't want to stay still for me to take these pictures.  I can tell that she's moving into that stage where it will be far and few between that I get a great shot of her.

When Easton was her age it was impossible to go outside and play without getting a good workout by chasing him all over the place.  Molly is completely opposite.  She is happy to hang out and she rarely goes farther than 10 feet from where I am.  She loves the little cozy coupe we bought for her this summer.

She's my little eater too.  She'll eat anything you put in front of her.  She chows green beans like it's nobody's business!  If anyone has food she immediately comes to beg.... even if it's right after she's eaten her own meal!

She's a good talker too.  She'll try to mimic anything I say.  So far, these are the words she's been able to say, over and over and over and over and over (she's a broken record):

Baby

Woah

Wow

yay

Please

I know I'm forgetting some.  Oh well.  On to the pictures.  This is her favorite bear to sleep with.... she has 2 but loves this one.  Oh..... and she sleeps in, which is heavenly!

she's getting really good at walking.... she wont crawl anywhere anymore.  I love the concentration it takes to make it off that rug, lol.

and one to show that she's not always sweet as peaches.  She's pretty dang good at throwing tantrums.  She rolls around on the ground and throws her self all over the place.  It's actually really funny and I have a hard time not laughing at her.

Why?  Because I actually managed to get a picture of my Easton, who is growing up and looking so much older than he should, and who is the hardest human being on the earth to take a decent portrait of.  My sweet, crazy, monkey, muscle/wild man cooperated (a little) for me the other day.  I bribed him with an Oreo cookie that you can still see remnants of on his face but oh well..... nothing a little cloning can't take care of.  Not right now though because I'm exhausted.  Just wanted to get these up and share with you all my big boy.

They are nothing fancy, we were just hanging out on the front porch, he had been swimming all morning and afternoon.

one of my greatest friends

I love this family to death!  I've known them for such a long time.  It's so fun to grow up and see them having kids and I was lucky that they called me to take pictures of their newest baby.  She's the cutest little thing and was so easy to photograph, she was super content to just lay there and let us do what we wanted with her.  Love it when newborns are like that.  This was so much fun for me, I've been craving to shoot a newborn again.  It had been quite a while so I was thrilled that they called.  Thanks all of you for hanging out with me.  It was fun to see you again.

BLOG SLACKER

Yup, thats me!

Shoot folks, I'm sorry for being gone and not posting anything.  I have people anxious for some sneak peaks and I've left you all disappointed.  I think it's better though that I use the little computer time I've been getting actually working than blogging.  I'm sure you all understand.  **GRIN**

Anyway, check out these cuties.  Such a sweet family, thanks for hanging out and for the tears and laughs.  I really had a great time with y'all!

This little chunkers has the most amazing eyes... they are soooo reflective, like mini mirrors.

three is the magic number

Did anyone ever watch School House Rock?  This was my favorite one.

Random but this family reminded me of it.  These guys were soooo much fun to hang out with, they are super cool people.  Baby G was super laid back and happy, probably one of the most content little boys I've ever photographed.  Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.  Inga, you are gorgeous and super photogenic!  This first one is my new favorite family portrait!  I'll have the rest up for you soon.

one year later

It was a year today that my brother Jordan and his wife Ereka got in their car accident.

As you can see they are doing really well.  We just had a party for them on Sunday I guess celebrating the blessing that they are still here with us.  For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about they were in a head-on collision where Jordan was life flighted to the hospital and was in the ICU for just under a month fighting for his life.  There were moments that we didn't know if he would make it, it's a miracle that he is.  He's all but back to his normal life, working and going to school.  They just bought a new town home and got a puppy, Bella.

So there's your post Jord.  He's been feeling neglected on my blog.

I had a blast getting together with these darling girls again.  They brought their mom and dad along for some pics this time too.  Thanks girls, you're the cutest things!

Then I talked their mom into going with me the next morning to a field with bails of hay.  This only happens once a year and last only a couple of days so I wanted to take advantage of how cute these girls are and get some shots.  The only bad thing is that the sun was REALLY harsh!!  Wow, it made it really tough but we got some really cute ones.  I would have loved it to be overcast a hazy for the mood I was looking for.... oh well, maybe next year :)
